Admissions Process
Prospective parents must first meet with the school's director and/or head of school before applying. Be sure to research and tour other schools before submitting your application. You will know when you have found the right fit for you and your family.
To enroll, follow the steps below: 1. TOUR Email contact@fairviewmontessori.com to schedule a meeting with our director. No children, please. During your tour, you will be introduced to the Montessori philosophy and given an opportunity to get a feel for the school's culture in order to determine if we are the right fit. 2. OBSERVE Classroom observations have resumed!! Following your meeting with our director, you will observe the children and teachers at work. 3. APPLY Submit an application with the non-refundable application fee. Priority goes first to returning students, then to entering 3 year olds and to children who will attend at least 2 years. Strongest consideration is given to families who are committed to the Montessori philosophy and to enrolling their child through the Kindergarten year, thus completing the three-year cycle. 4. ENROLL If space is available, reserve your child's spot by returning a contract and non-refundable deposit equal to 10% the annual tuition. If no space is available, you may be placed on a waitlist. 5. ATTEND All enrollment forms, including health and immunization records, must be returned PRIOR to your child’s first day in attendance. A list of personal items your child must have for school, our procedure for drop-off and pickup, and useful information on getting started will be emailed prior to your child's start date. You may schedule a brief visit with your child a few days before starting. These short visits will take place during our afterschool program and allow your child to interact with soon-to-be new friends and teachers and to see the classroom. |
HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION POLICY
All incoming students must be fully immunized. A seasonal influenza vaccine is required yearly by Nov. 15. Only medical exemptions documented by a physician will be honored. Teachers and staff are required to have the COVID vaccine. |
